The tool of AOP will help you to find out in which group you are in:
7–14 : Low to moderate risk of developing type 2 diabetes (1–17% probability over 10 years). Routine screening for type 2 diabetes is not recommended.
15–20 : High risk of developing type 2 diabetes (33% probability over 10 years). Screen glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) every 3–5 years.
21 + : Very high risk of developing type 2 diabetes (50% probability over 10 years). Screen glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) once a year.
